Job Description
Are you a professional, customer-centric, and supportive Health Care Provider? Are you willing to provide telehealth assessment services to the United States Military service members and make referrals to physicians and other health care members at the Military Treatment Facility as appropriate? This position will be remote. Assessments shall be scheduled as tele-health appointments.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Healthcare Provider (HCP) must be a Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Advance Practice Nurse, or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice in the state license in the state the call assessments are taken.
- Possess and maintain the minimum amounts of malpractice insurance as required by state licensing regulations, or this contract, whichever is greater.
· Healthcare Provider (HCP) personnel must complete the SC PHA and HIPPA Compliance training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The HCP shall evaluate a patient’s medical condition and determine if the service member is physically fit for pre- and post-military deployment.
- Support deployment related healthcare services by completing health assessments such as the PDHRA (Pre-Deployment Health Related Assessment) and PHA (Periodic Health Assessment). The HCP will assess the results and refer patients for further treatment as appropriate.
- Assessments shall be scheduled as tele-health and/ video appointments.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
- Provides appropriate patient education.
- Provide quality care to patients according to clinical medical protocols and funding source guidelines.
- Maintain adequate, concise, legible and updated patient medical records that document all evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results, and other records.
- Participates in provider performance audits as assigned.
- Complete initial and on-going Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) administered HIPAA compliance training.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $68.00 – $88.00 per hour
