Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
Follow standardized processes for managing add or change requests and implement them in the letter generation system.
Review and create denial letters ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Perform internal Quality Control reviews on letter-writing processes.
Identify and rectify letter deficiencies with a keen attention to detail.
Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders for letter template design and development.
Develop new templates and promote tested templates to production.
Analyze inventory and propose optimization strategies.
Summarize findings and present recommendations to supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted LPN nurse compact state license, with the ability to obtain endorsement licensures for other states as necessary.
Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical patient care experience.
Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Excellent grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of direct clinical patient care experience.
Familiarity with managed care principles and medical management activities in a managed care environment.

All employees working remotely must adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
Hourly wage range for California, Colorado, Nevada, or Washington residents: $19.47 to $38.08 per hour, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
Comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution are provided (subject to eligibility requirements).
