Job Description

Positions : RN- Med/surg, RN-ICU, RN-Labour and Delivery, RN-Hospice, RN-Home Health, RN-OB, RN- ER, Staff RN, Nurse Manager, Case Manager, Floor Nurse
Type: Contract and permanent
Shift: 8/10/12 hours (varies)
Location: Various states across US
Qualifications Required:
- Associates degree in nursing at a minimum; however, preference is given to candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum requirement of current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- RNs specializing in Emergency Room (ER)/ Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/ Obstetrics (OB) are expected to hold additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care delivery adhering to established nursing and hospital standards.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques.
- Maintain vigilance over patient comfort and safety needs.
- Monitor patients, meticulously documenting significant conditions and reactions, and promptly informing physicians of any changes in patient condition or responses to medications, treatments, or notable incidents.
- React to all situations in accordance with nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Record comprehensive nursing history and conduct physical assessments for assigned patients.
