We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
2+ years of experience in a medical setting Understanding of medical insurance, including Medicare billing 2+ years of experience with EMRs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in computer systems and data entry Preferred Qualifications: Medical Assistant certification preferred Digital Health Experience: Experience working with digital health technologies and platforms is highly desirable. Start-Up Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment is a plus. Billing and Value-Based Care: Experience with healthcare billing and value-based care models is a significant advantage. Additional Requirements: Passion for improving patient care and outcomes. Understanding of remote patient monitoring and chronic condition management.
Enroll patients in the Welby program, collecting demographic and insurance information Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, accurately documenting details Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as needed Educate patients on financial responsibility and payment options Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries
