Due to growth, we are adding a Clinical Educator, CEC (RN) to our CEC Clinical Operations department. The Clinical Educator, CEC (RN) will collaborate across multiple disciplines to bring knowledge, exceptional service and build high engagement throughout the continuum. This role develops and facilitates training for current and new associates. The Clinical Educator will utilize strategies to ensure strong performers within the Clinical Engagement Center team. Will be adept at identifying training needs, creating interactive educational programs and evaluating retention of material. The Educator will develop appropriate clinical resources, and continually assess the training program for possible improvement opportunities. This position will also support CEC’s Leadership in developing policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school required Registered Nurse with unrestricted licensure required Additional training such as nurse educator certificate, master’s degree in nurse education, or equivalent experience preferred 1 year of hands-on training experience required in instructional design, course development and delivery, adult learning, and evaluation methodologies in a professional setting 5 years clinical experience including clinical education experience required 10+ Years clinical experience preferred Experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary team required Experience in a clinical call center is preferred Professional PBM industry work experience is preferred Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
Assess, develop, and deliver standardized, competency-based clinical training to all associates within the CEC. This includes new employee orientation, preceptor training and ongoing continuing education Accountable for quality metrics of trainees after training and driver of success rate for associate retention Identify learning opportunities and develop educational material to resolve any gaps Conduct audits and evaluations to understand training effectiveness. Incorporate feedback into training programs, personal growth, and action plans through to resolution as appropriate Promote a culture of high engagement and lifelong learning through training and professional program development Maintain expert level knowledge of all CEC programs and serve as a resource for associates Manage performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to support practice at the highest extent of licensure Review and update clinical algorithms, detailed work instructions, and call scripts at least yearly and with updated clinical guidelines Be able to speak to Navitus Clients’ member experience and how the Clinical Engagement Center contributes to improved health and wellness. Adhere to company policy, procedures, regulatory, legal and ethical requirements Other duties as assigned
