Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care
The Center for Hope, Union County’s premier residential hospice, seeks a well-organized, detail oriented individual to assume the important role of Scheduler for our clinical staff. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years in shift scheduling for multiple disciplines, be comfortable with the coordination of healthcare related staff, and be personable and persuasive. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least one year of experience with OnShift Scheduling software. The Scheduler should be an energetic self-starter. This individual should feel comfortable speaking on the phone with many different individuals, dealing with multiple streams of coordination, and meeting daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines and expectations.
Work 25 hours a week for Center for Hope Hospice to coordinate and address all needs of the department. Communicate with managers, employees, and third-party agencies via telephone and e-mail. Work in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure that all third-party staff are in compliance with basic state health licensure and clearance requirements. Create and distribute a daily schedule for all in-house clinical staff that completely covers the scope of care for all in-house patients currently in the services of Center for Hope. Create & distribute individual schedules for per-diem staff members. Maintain active relationships with managers/points of contact at all currently utilized agencies. Coordinate with the finance department to log and track contingent staff hours to examine and evaluate expenditure on third party staffing. Work in conjunction with other staff members within the patient services department to ensure that patient care is consistently and continually delivered at the highest level.
