The Uro/Gyn team is a subspecialty of Ob/Gyn, a specialized field of gynecology and obstetrics that deals with female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. This is a per diem, 8-hr day shift remote position ideally working two days per week, preferably Mondays & Fridays from 8am-5pm. Training will ideally be full time for ~4 weeks onsite from 7:30am-4pm. Once trained, this will be a fully remote position. Training is located at the Anderson Medical pavilion in La Jolla as a part of the UroGyn team.

Support two doctors and one physician assistant (PA) in a fast-paced environment. Performing in-office procedures as well as triaging and managing in-basket messages. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. You will also work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
