Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a RN, Clinical Operations (PT) to join our Lumicera Clinical Services department! The RN, Clinical Operations is an active registered nurse responsible for assisting in the management of clinical programs within the specialty pharmacy. The primary purpose of this position is to provide telephonic education to patients and caregivers following the Clinical Protocols and working within the nursing scope of practice and guidelines. This individual will offer clinical intervention, counseling, and support services, which require substantial knowledge, judgement and professionalism based upon the foundation of nursing practice and superior patient care. The RN, Clinical Operations, assists in compliance, adherence and persistency programing within the specialty pharmacy. This position may also facilitate with manufacturer and client partners as well as provider clinics and facilities and carries out mutually agreed upon programs and protocols.
What our team expects from you? Nursing Diploma, Associates Degree Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Registered Nurse license in state of practice with current, unrestricted license Must continually maintain education credits to maintain active licensure Two years patient-centered care or disease management nursing experience preferred Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees We are unable to offer remote work to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming. #LI-Remote
Perform clinical assessments, provide disease and drug specific information to the patient and/or caregiver within the scope of nursing practice and guidelines Responsible for assisting in planning and maintaining clinical programs and projects promoting patient care Complete appropriate forms/adverse event forms when necessary according to FDA and pharmaceutical requirements Maintain competency in the range of treatments and disease states dispensed by the specialty pharmacy Actively assist staff pharmacists in the conduction of daily clinical duties. Documenting patient interventions and clinical notes in patient record Assist the clinical team in new hire training, mentoring, and peer-to-peer quality review and auditing Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, pharmacy policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulations Assist in the completion of order creation and set up to include payment method, copay assistance, order and shipment details Other duties as assigned
