Professional Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a health care setting. Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Proficiency in healthcare information systems and PC-based applications including Microsoft Office. Demonstrated proficiency working within a fast-paced team environment. Proven ability to successfully interface with numerous healthcare professionals, patients and family members. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on sound clinical judgment and excellent problem-solving techniques. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to physicians, participants and families, and to display compassion and patience while handling multiple telephone contacts. Shares in holiday coverage of two holidays a year. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Sate and/or organization requirements and in good working order.
Under the direction of a Clinical Manager, the RN Triage Nurse will perform functions to support the day-to-day operations related to the clinical services of Care Dimensions patients, families, physicians and clinical staff. The RN Triage Nurse is an integral member of the hospice team, working closely with all IDT members to coordinate care needs for hospice patients and families.
