Frequently Answered Questions

Telehealth nursing involves providing healthcare services remotely through telecommunications technology. This innovative approach enables nurses to deliver high-quality care to patients without the need for in-person visits, making healthcare more accessible and convenient. Nurses use various tools such as video calls, phone calls, secure messaging, and other digital platforms to communicate with patients. These methods allow nurses to conduct assessments, provide medical advice, monitor chronic conditions, manage medications, and offer health education and counseling.

When it comes to remote nursing jobs, the qualifications can really vary! Some positions may require both a degree and certifications to be the ideal candidate, while others might not even need a nursing license—especially if you're stepping outside your typical nursing scope. Ideally, a remote nurse should operate at least at the competent level on the novice-to-expert model. You need enough experience to effectively follow the nursing process from afar. So, if someone suggests you jump into a remote role as a new graduate, remember: they might not have your best interests at heart!

At Telehealth Nurse Network, you can explore opportunities on our Free Job Board! But don’t forget about our Premium Job Board—it's updated more frequently, features a larger selection of jobs, and includes handy filters that make your job search a breeze!

We're a digital community built by nurses for nurses, with a goal of revolutionizing the way nurses work. We're a digital community that has a free job board, we also have a free Facebook group, and a plenty of resource to help you become a Telehealth Nurse yourself!

Absolutely not! Our packages are there to support you, they are completely optional.
