The Manager of the MH FIRST RN Team plays a critical leadership role in overseeing a team of Registered Nurses who provide essential support to field teams and patients 24/7, facing urgent and complex health concerns. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality care, the effective implementation of processes, and the seamless management of urgent situations. The Manager will lead the MH FIRST RN team in providing the necessary resources, support, reporting, and guidance to patients and their families, ensuring a smooth and efficient response to emergencies and environmental crises. Typical Schedule Seeking a flexible individual to collaborate with the Director on a weekly schedule, typically Thursday-Monday (8 hours/day), and floating coverage.
Hold a current and valid RN license, with eligibility to practice across state lines. A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience is required, with at least two years in a leadership or management role. Preferred experience includes emergency care, critical care, or triage. Proven ability to lead and manage a team in high-stress situations, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and calmly in urgent situations. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, focusing on maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Availability to adjust shift schedules as needed to meet peak coverage and staffing requirements, and oversight. A strong commitment to patient safety and the delivery of high-quality care.
Oversee the MH FIRST RN team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the MH FIRST RN team, ensuring adequate staffing and adherence to protocols. Guide the team in assessing and addressing urgent patient needs, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Monitor and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), annual assessments, care plans, and chart auditing. Serve as a primary point of contact for field staff, care center personnel, and patients, ensuring effective communication. Develop and implement training programs for the MH FIRST RN team to enhance clinical skills, crisis management abilities, and proficiency in documentation and technology. Lead the team's response to emergencies and environmental crises, ensuring preparedness and effective outreach. Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing regular feedback and support for continuous improvement.
